Elections 2016 Cyprus

Elections are coming up in Cyprus this May.

Parliament members are to be elected, these people will represent the people of the Country as part of the Democratic constitution.

Unfortunately the current parliament members have proven to be unworthy of the votes they received (this applies to the majority of members) and have disappointed the Cypriot people at a large scale.

Young people have lost their faith in the system and the party with the highest numbers for the forthcoming elections is "ABSENCE". This once again shows the disgrace of those people "representing" us, they are just some people that get paid a lot of money, have lots of benefits, can do whatever they feel like with no significant consequences and finally they don't actually do their job.

They have failed us largely, some examples being the following:

• law election at the parliament. More than 20% of the parliament members have not even voted for the law. People voted you to give your opinion, not to be absent!
• Parliament members taking pictures of women members panties!
• Parliament member uploading a video eating forbitten birds "ambelopoulia" to gain votes. You need to at least respect the law when you are a member of the parliament. Don't just ignore them. There should not be asylum for such people.
• Parliament member continuously driving his car well above the allowed speed limit. Get his licence off his hands. He not only ignores the law, but he puts other people, innocent people in danger due to his driving

Vote for new blood, young people, ambitious people with a vision to reborn the positive outlook of Cyprus.
